Crowdtap is less a survey site and more a brand research community - you complete missions for consumer brands that involve watching ads, answering questions, and occasionally receiving products to sample at home. Pay runs $1-$5 per mission and monthly totals of $15-$60 are typical. It's US-only and payouts are gift cards only, so the cash-in-hand crowd will want to look elsewhere. Where it stands out is the product sampling - when you qualify for a sampling campaign, you receive actual consumer products, which has a real dollar value separate from your points balance. The missions are more varied and engaging than standard survey grinding, which helps if you burn out on repetitive questionnaires.
